02 — Technical Specifications
Equipment & Standards
All equipment, methods, and operations must comply with the following requirements throughout the entire project duration.
Requirement
Specification
Status
Rig Mobility
Self-propelled Track-mounted (Crawler) or Truck-mounted units strongly preferred to minimize inter-hole relocation time across 1 km grid
Preferred
Towed / Skid Units
Acceptable only if Contractor demonstrates dedicated high-capacity support vehicles — no reliance on Company machinery
Conditional
Core Diameter
HQ diameter (ideal). Reduction to NQ requires written authorization from Chief Geologist
Mandatory
Core Recovery Rate
Minimum 90% within mineralized phosphate zones — strictly mandatory
Mandatory
Core Boxes
Durable boxes supplied by Contractor, marked with Hole ID & depth intervals. Cost included in unit rate
Mandatory
Water, Fluids & Fuel
Contractor solely responsible for sourcing, procurement, transport, and storage. All costs built into unit rates
Mandatory
Site Preparation
Contractor provides wheel loader or equivalent. All costs borne by Contractor
Mandatory
Camp & Accommodation
Contractor solely responsible for all accommodation, meals, and personnel transport
Mandatory
Prequalification Documents (Technical Envelope): Company profile, commercial registration, track record in similar phosphate drilling, equipment list, key personnel CVs (Project Manager, Rig Supervisors, HSE Officer), and proposed 40-day execution schedule.
03 — HSE Requirements
Health, Safety & Environment
Genesis Mining enforces a zero-tolerance policy for safety negligence and environmental degradation.
Occupational Health & Safety
Full compliance with national mining safety frameworks. All crew equipped with PPE. Immediate reporting of all incidents to the Company safety officer.
Waste Management & Spill Prevention
No refuse or hazardous materials left on site. Secondary containment mandatory under all fuel tanks, generators, and rig engines.
Drilling Fluids
All polymers must be environmentally safe. Fluids contained in designated sump pits. Borehole plugging and capping mandatory upon completion.
Site Rehabilitation
Sump pits fully backfilled and leveled before rig demobilization. Violations result in financial deductions or immediate suspension.
04 — Commercial Terms & Pricing
Pricing Structure
All rates must remain fixed for the duration of the contract. The Linear Meter rate must inclusively cover drilling, core extraction, core boxes, water haulage, fuel, polymers, and crew labor.

Financial Conditions & Paid Standby Terms
Payment framework, advance conditions, retention policy, and circumstances qualifying for paid standby as defined in this ITT.
Advance Payment
10% of contract value, granted against an unconditional Bank Guarantee prior to mobilization.
Progress Billing
Monthly — based on actual drilled and accepted linear meters, certified by the Company's site geologist in signed Daily Drilling Reports (DDRs).
Invoice Settlement
Approved invoices settled within 30 calendar days of certification.
Retention Deduction
5% withheld from each progressive invoice to secure site rehabilitation, core box deliveries, and environmental compliance.
